Jeffrey Hubbell, the Eugene Bell Professor in Tissue Engineering, will take on new duties as vice dean and executive officer. In his new role, Hubbell will help lead efforts to improve the administrative structure and functions at Pritzker Molecular Engineering. He will coordinate with Joshua Berg, senior associate dean for administration and operations; Rovana Popoff, senior associate dean for education and strategy; and Dean Matthew Tirrell, Robert A. Millikan Distinguished Service Professor. In addition, Hubbell will take principal responsibility for expanding PME’s corporate engagement initiatives and industrial partnerships.

“PME has experienced remarkable growth over its first ten years, and we’re focused on continuing that momentum into the next ten years,” said Tirrell. “David and Jeff have been instrumental in the success of PME’s development, and these new roles will help us accelerate the school’s expansion and our ability to make an impact on issues that impact humanity and quality of life.”

It was also announced that Dean Tirrell will focus his efforts on cultivating philanthropic prospects for PME, as well as growing the school’s visibility through enhanced marketing and public relations activities.
