From Indianapolis, Indiana, Priya received a BA in chemistry from the University of Chicago. She joined the Patel Lab in 2017 as an undergraduate researcher, focusing on novel ion-conducting materials. Priya was later admitted to the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering as a graduate student, under the supervision of Chibueze Amanchukwu.
Priya’s research will focus on the design of structured liquid electrolytes to improve electrochemical stability in lithium batteries.
