The programs are led by staff and graduate student researchers who are trained in science communication and pedagogical practices that help them connect with a wide variety of audiences as they serve as mentors and role models for the next generation of scientists and engineers.
During these outreach programs, participants engage in science and engineering through hands-on research and interactive learning, while teachers receive training and resources to incorporate molecular engineering topics into their curriculum.
