Chuting Deng grew up in Shenzhen, China. She received her BS degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University in June 2018. There, she found her interests in statistical mechanics and computational material design. Then, she moved to Chicago and joined the de Pablo group at the University of Chicago. She is currently pursuing her PhD in molecular engineering, advised by Professor de Pablo. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports game.
