Katie (Greenman) Herbert

Originally from Wayland, Michigan, Katie received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Central Michigan University in 2011. In 2013, she completed her master's degree at the same university while studying the phase separation behavior of POSS in polymeric thin films with Dr. Bingbing Li. She went on to attend Case Western Reserve University as a PhD student in the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering and joined the Rowan group in July 2013. She moved with Professor Rowan in the summer of 2016 to the Institute of Molecular Engineering (now the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering) at the University of Chicago where she is currently working on her dissertation focused on interlocked macromolecules and dynamic covalent networks.
