Aephraim Steinberg leads an experimental Quantum Optics & Ultracold Atoms group at the University of Toronto, focusing on foundational issues in quantum mechanics as well as applications to quantum information, metrology, and sensing.  He is a founding member & past director of Toronto’s Centre for Quantum Information & Quantum Control, and a Fellow of the APS, Optica, and the Royal Society of Canada.
